The Hanley Family Foundation, Inc. has awarded MARC a major Challenge Grant by providing up to $50,000 in dollar-for-dollar matching funds. MARC has until May 15, 2012, to raise the $50,000 in donated funds to match the Hanley Family grant.

The first program developed by MARC provides emergency services to men and women who are in a crisis because of their active chemical dependency and who want to stop using. Licensed by NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), the program has offered thousands of men and women a first step on the road to recovery. After "cleaning up" at the Crisis Center, more than 60 percent of patients accept referral to follow-up chemical dependency treatment programs.
